Bob has been the Senior Minister at Bethany since September 1991.  He joined the Bethany staff as Associate Minister in July 1987.  Bob graduated from Cincinnati Christian University and Cincinnati Bible Seminary, where he met his wife, Cindy. Bob and Cindy have two children and five grandchildren. Bob’s son Brian and his wife, Rachel, along with Brody, live in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Traci, along with her four girls (Makiyha, Kenzi, Addy and Hallie), live in Anderson.  Bob and Cindy enjoy traveling and can often be found out on the road in their convertible, weather permitting, with the top down; however, they have been known to have the top down with the heater or air conditioner on high.  Bob found out that driving in the rain while trying to hold an umbrella did not work!

  • Chris Bell – Student Ministries

Chris & Ariel

Chris grew up not too far from here in Hagerstown, IN, but his passion to work with students was developed while traveling with his family doing local and international missions.  Since his junior year of high school, he has traveled/lived in places from Vietnam and India to Wisconsin and California.  It was through all of these experiences that his passion to work with students developed and has been strengthened.  He attended Johnson Bible College and then finished his Christian Leadership degree at Anderson University.  He started dating his wife, Ariel, while at Johnson and got married in June of 2006.  Ariel (Fuller) has been a member at Bethany since her middle school years. It was through this connection that Chris started working with the youth as a volunteer and then joined the staff in August of 2013.  Chris and Ariel have a son, Miles, who shares a birthday with his dad.  Chris loves hanging out with high school/middle school students, reading and doing anything he can to be with other people.

  • Tim Fair – Adult Ministries and Discipleship

Fair, Tim - croppedA true Indiana native, Tim grew up south of Indianapolis and there he developed a passion for God, outdoors and sports.  He graduated from Johnson Bible College in 2006.  It was there that he met his wife, Courtney, and later married in the summer of 2007.  They have a son named Isaac, a daughter named Cana, and a chocolate lab named Marley.  Tim joined the staff in February 2008.  He enjoys anything outdoors including biking, camping, and hiking and has been known to regularly have a book in one hand and a highlighter in the other.

A transplant from the mid-west, Gabriel (feel free to call him Gabe) grew up west of St. Louis, in rural Missouri.  He met his wife, Rachel, in high school and they later married in 1997. He graduated from Saint Louis Christian College in 2001. Gabe joined the Bethany staff in September of 2010.  There is always something happening at the Ohmes home because Gabe and Rachel have three sons, Zachary, Jeffrey and Timothy. Gabe enjoys riding bikes and exploring the outdoors with Rachel and the boys, has a significant interest in home improvement and an enthusiasm for all things musical.  If you find yourself on campus at Bethany, you can usually find Gabe by following the sound of whistling, humming, or singing.

  • Tisha Schultz – Children’s Ministries Director

Schultz, Tisha - croppedTisha grew up in Carlisle, a small town in southwestern Indiana. She decided to venture far from home and attend Anderson University where she majored in elementary education. For five years, Tisha taught first, second, and third grade students in a small public school just outside of Anderson. However, her heart for children and desire to follow God’s plan drew her out of the classroom and led her to join the Bethany staff in June 2013 as Director of Children’s Ministries. Tisha enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends, including her ten nieces & nephews!
