Welcome to Bethany Student Ministries Unite! This ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Chris Bell, is for all students in grades 7-12. It exists to Unite! each student into a life-changing and ever deepening relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. We realize that each student comes from a different background and deals with all sorts of challenges from all different directions. It is our goal to help students manage those challenges and respond to each situation in a Christ-like manner.
At Bethany we challenge students to grow in what they know, how they feel, and how they live. In the context of relationships, we are intentional about studying scripture, loving God and serving people.
You won’t find any perfect students or adults here. You don’t have to know it all or have it all figured out to be a part of Bethany Student Ministries. Feel free to come with your questions. Come with your doubts. Come with your burdens.
“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” (Jer. 29:13)
Sunday Mornings (9:00-11:30am)
We believe there is value in gathering together to worship in song and the study of scripture. Our students are encouraged to participate in Bethany’s 9:00 a.m. worship service in the sanctuary.
At 10:30 all students meet in the Attic to have a time of fellowship and intentional scripture study. This happens in a variety of ways, ranging from videos to group discussion.
Sunday Nights (6:00-8:00pm)
Relationships are very important to us. This is why we devote so much time developing solid relationships with one another. Most Sunday nights these “life groups” are split up by age and gender. In these groups students work on building relationships as they talk about their lives, study the Bible and pray with each other. Usually on the last Sunday night of each month, there is a larger group event where all students participate together.
Wednesday Nights (6:00-8:00pm)
During the school year all students get together for a time of worship through music, videos, prayer, discussion and Bible teaching. This is an intentional time set up in the middle of the week to come and get “recharged.” This is a safe place to come and fellowship with friends.
During the summer months there are a variety of activities … mission trips, conferences, summer camps at Rainbow Christian Camp, and other activities.
